About Dr. James Reynolds

Dr. James Reynolds is Chairman of SpineCare Medical Group. A board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon who has been in practice for more than 25 years, Dr. Reynolds is certified by both the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Board of Spine Surgery. He founded the San Francisco Spine Institute in 1988, has been a member of the North American Spine Society (NASS) for 20 years, and is active on several NASS committees. He is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Western Orthopedic Association, and the International Society for Minimal Intervention in Spinal Surgery. Dr. Reynolds attended medical school at St. Louis University. In addition to frequently presenting at spine conferences, seminars and workshops, he has authored numerous scientific articles and books about the spine and is currently conducting multiple research studies on spinal surgeries and the impact of surgical decisions on patients.
