The outcome of my surgery speaks for itself. 80% rotator cuff all the way through. Bones spurs creating impingement. Post surgery zero pain, full mobility and full strength. Liked it so much just had him do my other shoulder :-)

Doctor A. Shabi Khan is my doctor at Peninsula Orthopedic Associates and he is a humourous, friendly, kind, and caring doctor. He operated on my right rotator cuff with some physical therapy afterwards and now, much better. Although, from time to time, I still have pain on my right shoulder and that's where my nurse practitioner, Angela Hull comes along and she is so wonderful, sweet, resourceful, and helpful. We both love the San Francisco Forty~Niners~Go 49ERS! Also, everybody like the other staff at Peninsula Orthopedic Associates are respectful, understanding, and cordial.

I recently injured my knee hiking and Dr. Sciaroni was the perfect physician to help address my concerns. She gathered a thorough H & P (active 58 year old, former competitive athlete), current activity, goals, and history and physical before planning the next course of action. I found her to be focused, caring, and progressive to help get me back on track to my former activity level. I felt that she heart my concerns and answered my questions (there were many) without being condescending. Very kind but straight shooter, which I appreciated.

I had 2 knees surgery - Meniscus torn and one left shoulder operation - Calcium accumulation and bone spur all successfully between 98%-100% . Dr Khan has strong knowledge and practical skills as well clinical judgment and interpersonal abilities . Dr Khan demonstrates precise manual dexterity, spatial awareness and hand - eyes coordination that allow him to perform complex procedures with minimal tissue damage and fast recovery . Great surgeon that exhibit sound clinical decision making knowing when to operate and when to pursue alternative treatments and communicate effectively with patients .

Dr. Carrie Jones was great! I came in for an T/Lumbar epidural for pain management, she made the whole process smooth and easy. She explained everything clearly and helped me feel at ease. The procedure went well, and I'm already feeling some relief. Hopefully she’ll agree to continue, having her do my next one too — very thankful for her care.

Dr. Khan made me feel very comfortable with his explanations about my situation. I think Dr. Khan is a very professional and honest person. He explained the options I have in my situation very well. One of the best options, considering my age and physical condition, would be knee replacement. However, he doesn't perform this surgery.

Dr. Jones wields magic in her hands – a couple injections here, and there - and voilà! My pains have subsided. I very much also like the fact that she's personable, listens to one and thinks outside the box to help a patient.

As all the other reviews I read about Dr.George Thabit, I highly agree that he is nothing short of an amazing surgeon and human being. He did major shoulder reconstruction on me after an intense skiing accident. What a professional before during and after . Such a genuine authentic guy. At six months after the surgery I am surfing and skiing again is how good he is at his craft. Now at one year out from surgery I have to remind myself that it even happened. I have the highest regards for Dr. George Thabit and would trust my life and yours with him.

Peninsula Orthopedic's physical therapy in Daly City was a reassuring experience. Vinson, the DPT, was great! He was proactive and flexible, willing to recommend exercises and exchange thoughts on what could improve therapy and aid in continued recovery of range of motion and strength afterward the course of this PT referral. The front desk people were proactive and pleasant while verifying the referral and taking care of collecting and processing copays.

Dr Thabit is the reason I can lift my new grand baby and live a full, functional life. He has resolved major issues in both shoulders over the past few years that other doctors would have said I just need to live with. He is down to earth, empathetic and an above average, very experienced surgeon.

Dr. Thabit is truly exceptional! After a skiing accident left me with a torn ACL 25 years ago he repaired my knee. Since then I've experienced no pain or issues whatsoever, allowing me to maintain a very active lifestyle. I continue to run, hike, ski and go to the gym regularly. Sad to say I appreciate the help given to me but my concern about my pain for almost 4 months and I was not advised n did not have the result of my pain after taking several exrays on my last appointment and left me and sending someone a disk that I should give to my primary doctor all I want to know is the prognosis of my pain n what’s causing the terrible pain on my right leg . No new prescription for the pain still taking first medication given on Feb. 14, 2024 which is Hydrocodone 5 mg. 3 times a day n still taking it up to the present it eases d pain for like 3 to 4 hrs. and back again for almost 4 months now. Very disappointed

Im very disappointed to Dr. Clarissa Ho, she is not friendly and very attitude Dr. i ever meet plus her staff is very rude to me every time i visited there office i always so scared to make an appointment because of their bad customer service. My first visit to Dr. Clarissa Ho is a disaster at all. So i have an injury from my work left hip pain injury came to Dr. clarissa ho to her clinic to check me, waiting for 1 hour before they check me frustrating without any explanation and apologize from dr. Clarissa, plus when she check my pain level in my left hip i told her i was in pain just be careful so dr. Clarissa don't even care whatever i told her to be careful she just pull my legs really hard and i scream it’s hurt ouch she just pull it 2 times before she stop. Plus she always rushing me to make a decision that im okay how can i say okay if im still on pain very unprofessional Dr. I don't recommend her to anybody with her staff so unfriendly and rude. If there any specialist Dr. im never in a million times that im going to choose Dr. Clarissa Ho unprofessional Dr. i ever meet.

As a law enforcement officer, volunteer firefighter/first responder, he has the knowledge of what I need and answers my questions and takes his time with you. I drive about 4.5 to 5 hours to see him and it's well worth the drive to get QUALITY care and have someone compassionate about your injuries. I will continue to see him.

My wife accompanied me today as a new patient of Dr. Khan. I had severe osteoarthritis in my right knee. The pain scale was off the charts. Angela drained fluids from my knee and using an ultrasound gave me a cortisol shot. This evening the pain is minimal. Angela is simply marvelous. What a gem!

Dr. Dillingham is the best sports orthopedic doctor in the world. He is experienced and methodic and takes the time to diagnose the TOTAL situation: direct and indirect causes; influences to the injury and of the injury to other parts; bones, muscles, and tendons. He took the time to explain what/how/why he did to diagnose the problem. It all made logical sense to me. My right shoulder was a super mess from overuse by playing unreasonably long hours of tennis and kayaking with insufficient rest in between. After diagnosing the issues AND explaining them to me, as well as explaining my best options, he and his assistant did a fantastic job on the surgery. He explained what I could and could not do immediately after the surgery and for how long, so that the extensive work they did in my shoulder would stay in tact. When it was time, he connected me with the best physical therapist an amateur athlete could ask for, and I am on my way to recovery. When I needed advice between appointments, I requested an urgent appointment between already scheduled appointments, and he granted a video appointment after which I felt confident that I on the right path. Dr. Dillingham's surgery assistant is well qualified and I felt great that they both worked on my shoulder together during the surgery. I am ecstatic about the future and getting back to tennis, skiing, Kayaking and who knows, maybe also back to playing volleyball again.

Great doctor

Dr Khan’s patient interaction and expertise is second to none. From my first office visit through diagnostic testing, weekend phone calls addressing possible concerns, further more sensitive diagnostics and finally surgery, I knew that I was in very capable hands. What at first seemed to be a simple tear and bone spur correction became a complete reconstruction. I’m 2 weeks out of the sling and 6 weeks after surgery. Range of motion is almost back to normal and strength is still a work in progress but coming up nicely.

I spent about 6 weeks in physical therapy with Ellen Bahr. During that time Ellen was very supportive and a wealth of information. She put me on a path to manage through my hip pain by using multiple exercises and stretches that ultimately has helped me achieve a pain free lifestyle and I sleep better at night. With a potential hip replacement pending, I am now aware of how to manage my pain through the use of exercise rather than pain medication. It was Ellen’s direction and support that has shown me the way! Thank you Ellen!

I tore my ACL two weeks before I was losing my health insurance. Dr. Khan made it a priority to get me in for surgery the next week so it would be covered under insurance! He is super responsive and positive and has a great bedside manner. I have never been more pleased with a doctor.

I must start by saying that I had only the initial appointment with Olivia. The remaining 11 visits had to be cancelled due to scheduling conflicts. After that one meeting, I had full confidence that Olivia would have me on a great program for the healing of the tendonitis in my left wrist. Unfortunately, we never went past the first appointment. If the tendonitis returns and I return to physical therapy, I will request that Olivia be assigned to my case.

Alan's was very patient, I did not feel rushed during any of our appointments. He explained everything (too many things to list) clearly and fully. His "courtesy and concern" was excellent.

Tara has treated me post-op for one hip and 2 knee surgeries, and the latest has been for chronic back pain. She has treated me with professionalism, kindness and humor which made my physical therapy sessions go much easier. She explains what and why I am doing the various exercises for, and encourages me when needed. Her associate Alan has also assisted in my treatment and shows kindness and professionalism at all times. I would highly recommend this clinic to everyone needing their services.

I have chronic pain in lumbar region that sends bad signals to my lower extremities e.g. leg to big toe it is very strong and I find that if I sit in ice and tal hydrocodone and patches I can manage the pain. Swimming helps a lot but I have had a col/flu situation and could not get to the pool at all. Work was difficult but I will placeva ice pack and work.

I would like to share how much I really truly loved being under Dr Jones care. I have known her for several years now because she has helped me with my lateral and medial epicondylitis. I even had surgery in my left elbow that was unsuccessful (that was done by a different orthopedic surgeon), the only treatment that helps me is the PRP, which is what Doctor Jones has done for me with excellent results. She is very caring, and always try to accommodate my needs when I'm suffering with excruciating pain. I am extremely thankful.

I have seen Dr. khan for quite a few years now and he is still the same kind and personable doctor that I have known since the beginning. Very patient and not condescending with his explanations. Always puts the patient as ease.

I had a hard time getting ahold of someone to get an appt. to be seen to get a cortisone injection. I tried calling, went online, I had my lawyer try their way to get ahold of someone. I guess leaving messages all around finally got to someone’s inbox?????

I’ve had a sore right knee since February, no idea why it hurts. Finally decided it was time to get it checked out. Was able to get an appointment within two days from calling...amazing! Saw the NP, had xrays and an ultrasound at the same appointment. Scheduled an MRI for the next day...also amazing. Had fluid drained and had an injection. Unfortunately the day after, my knee didn’t respond well and I was in extreme pain, could barely walk. Called the office and received a call back in a timely manner. Things are improving and I meet with the NP tomorrow to review the MRI results. One thing I should mention-I really could have used help at the MRI location...it would have been much easier if a wheelchair were available to get me to the trailer from my vehicle. In my opinion, one should be available for such instances.

Dr. Jones was kind and made me feel very comfortable as she not only explained what was wrong with my spine but also what she planned to do to help take away the pain. Dr. Jones is a very busy doctor and she she gets right to the point, but in a way that makes you think that “why can’t all doctors do this!”

I was so, so impressed with Dr. Jones. She took her time explaining me, the problem with my low back. She is a very intelligent, patient and warm doctor, qualities very important to me. I trusted right away, something that does not happen often to me when dealing with doctors. I might need some procedure done to help with the pain in the low back and I am willing to travel to CA again (I live in AZ) to have it done with her.

If it wasn’t for Dr.Victoria Barber MD orthopedic surgeon to accept me as a referral.I wouldn’t be writing this experience even though I came to Dr Barber it was to late to have her perform surgery I would need to see a specialist surgeon do to time lapse by the insurance turn into case unknown…Dr. Victoria barbers said I’m gonna have to think of someone who she would trust if she was having it done on herself .. and it would take a few days to think of something the. She would notify me. She could had said sorry you need a specialist and that would be it. But she put me in the hands of Instructor Dr.Nicolas Colyvas UCSF Ortopidic surgeon and her one time mentor and friend who took me as a patient full right knee replacement..seamless no visible scare it’s amazing to think where would I be if I haven’t been referred to the one who got me to where I Needed to be I can’t say thank you enough it’s hard not to cry and hug her be cause she is at all time a true Medical Doctor who cares for her patience like me.. Dr Colyvas has given me a second chance walking. I’m blessed to have her as my physician

My experience with Dr. Jones was great. The front office desk staff could improve. There was a lack of professionalism, sitting on personal cell phones, eating, etc.
